‘Replacement 3 Phase Power Module’ (3PPM) is a drop-in replacement to upgrade older Magnaflux ARQ, TAQ 8 Point or 30 Point Tap Switch Current Controls. Same Power Module can also be used to upgrade H700 Reactor Control and H800 Solid State Wet Benches.
The 3PPM provides infinite Current Control Resolution from 20 Amps to the unit’s maximum amperage output rating of the Wet Bench. The end result is a 1/10 second current rise time for guaranteed repeatability.
3PPM replaces original tap transformers that are 70-year-old technology and reactors that are 50-year-old technology. This includes associated ancillary components. The end product is an upgraded wet bench comparable to current new models.
These upgrades provide savings when compared to purchasing new machines and considerably shorten the lengthy delivery times now common among OEM’s. Operators can also retain existing frame and major internal components.
